We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Rector-designate: Fr Oliver Brewer-Lennon.

Fr Oliver currently serves as Vice Provost at the Cathedral Church of St Mary the Virgin in Glasgow, where has has been in post for over 4 years. Prior to this, he was Assistant Curate at St Peter’s Lutton Place and St Ninian’s Comely Bank, both in Edinburgh.

Fr Oliver’s response on being offered the post sums up well:

‘I’m thrilled to become part of St Michael and All Saints’, a place where worship is a heartfelt tribute to God and where everyone is warmly embraced. I look forward to journeying alongside you as we explore the profound depth of our faith and seek to make a meaningful impact in our local and global communities.’

We anticipate Fr Oliver’s institution will take place at the end of July/beginning of August. We will confirm as soon as we are able.

For now, please keep Fr Oliver in your prayers as he prepares to join our church family.

Please also continue to pray for Fr Paul Burrows, our other supporting Clergy and the Vestry as we embark upon the final few months of the interregnum.
